Arrival in Himara..
Himara is located in the center of the Jonian Seaside
along Vlore-Sarande road.
From the Air
From Rinas Airport, through the auto way to Vlora.
Through the Korfuz Airport, and further by sea to
Himara or Saranda
From the Sea
If you come from
Albania you may come through the Durresi or
Vlora Port, but there is no fixed line.
If you set off from Italy or Greece, stop in the Kerkira
Port. With a bit of luck take “ Delfini”
to Himara, as this sails twice a week in summer, and
once a week in winter. The voyage lasts for 90 minutes
and costs 25 Euros
If you set off to Saranda, you surely can find means
of transportation easily as except a small ferry,
there are small passenger scuffs ( shikoje pak fjalen
skaf)every day. There is also another sea way from
Saranda Port to Himara, but it is four times a week.
The voyage takes 30 minutes and costs 15 euros.
From the Land
Driving your own car: :
a. : If you come from the North or North
East, The Port of Durres and the whole mid Albania,
while arriving in Fier go on for Vlora, Qaf Llogara
and further through the Jonian Seaside ( Dhermi, Vuno,
Ilias) until you arrive in Himara. b.
If you are coming from the South or Greece: The Borders
of Kakavija , The Three Bridges (Permet), Qafe Bote
( The more Southern corner), lead to Saranda and then
take the way to Riviera Sarande- Vlorë.
By
Public Transportation: a.
Bus and vans: Mainly from Vlora and Saranda, and Tirana
as well there is a regular line. If you are coming
from other cities lead to Vlora or Saranda and from
there to Himara. b. Taxi, whose cost
is found here.
